Douglas Fir Table and Bench

A crafted centrepiece for family life.

Everyday Craft, Elevated

In a family home in Hackney, we designed and built a bespoke Douglas fir table and bench to act as both a focal point and a practical centrepiece. With clean lines and generous proportions, the pieces highlight the natural beauty of the wood.

A light Osmo white finish softens the grain while maintaining the tactile texture of the timber, striking a balance between simplicity and modern refinement. Designed to order and made by hand, the set serves multiple roles — a place to gather, to work, and to share everyday life.

This project reflects our ongoing interest in the crafted details of daily living: modest in scale, purposeful in design, and enduring in use.
